Over the past day, Ukrainian air defense destroyed missiles flying from Belarus towards Lviv

This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxym Kozytsky, reports Espreso.West.

"Three missiles were shot down by our air defense in the Zolochiv region", Kozytsky said.

As a result, grass caught fire, but the fire has already been localized. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There is no threat to residents of the area.

"In general, the sirens in the Lviv region announced three times during the day about the aired alarm - they warned about the threat of a missile attack", the head of the Regional Military Administration added.




Later, the Air Command "West" of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that at the end of the day on March 28, from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, two X-type missiles were fired by the invaders' fighter, which were moving in the direction of the city of Lviv.

"The servicemen of the radio engineering troops timely detected and destroyed the targets by anti-aircraft missile forces at a distance of about 30 km from the regional center. In addition, the air defense units destroyed two UAVs of the operational-tactical level", the report says.
