Over the next few days crucial events will take place around Bakhmut – military expert Zgurets
Defense Express military expert group's CEO Serhiy Zgurets noted that since today journalists and volunteers are not allowed to enter Bakhmut
He said this during an Espreso TV channel broadcast.
"Russian troops continue offensives in several directions: Kupiansk, Kreminna, Bakhmut and Vuhledar. They are mostly concentrated around Bakhmut. As of Monday, February 13, civilians and the press are prohibited from entering Bakhmut, and it is connected to the AFU actions. There might be several scenarios. The Russian offensive on Bakhmut has not been entirely successful, with only partial goals achieved. Over the next few days, there will be crucial changes in Bakhmut. The access restriction may indicate some dynamics around Bakhmut," Zgurets emphasized.
The expert also added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroy Russian units and armored vehicles around Vuhledar.
"To the north of Svatove, the enemy is trying to cross the Oskil River. There are no Russian troops near Dvorichne, the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep this direction under control. Near Kreminna, the enemy is trying to carry out offensive actions in the forests around Dibrova, trying to push our units back to the Zherebets River. Near Vuhledar The Armed Forces of Ukraine are eliminating Russian units and armored vehicles. The enemy suffers the greatest losses in this area," Zgurets noted.
