This was reported by Sibir. Realii citing a video filmed by a witness.

The footage shows more than a hundred wooden boxes in a hangar, most of them with death certificates. The video clearly shows only one document of Sergei Yumashov, a native of Khakassia, who was 39 years old.

The agency reports that they have confirmed the identities of several soldiers who were recruited by Wagner PMC. In particular, Yumashov was killed on January 27 near the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and his body is to be delivered to the village of Arshanovo, Altai district, Khakassia.

Another coffin is signed "Gerbold. Buryatia". Relatives of 39-year-old Gennady Gerbold from Buryatia confirmed that "representatives of the PMC" reported his death two weeks ago.

The deceased's sister also reports that Gerbold disappeared from colony No. 8 in Novosibirsk in November, and she learned that he had been recruited and was in Ukraine only in December 2022.

"On November 27 (2022 - ed.), we talked to him, he assured me that he would never go to Ukraine. On the 28th, he disappears and I find out about his 'departure'. Of course, I suspect that he was taken by force to the war," said the sister.

The airport administration denies that the footage shows one of their premises.

"This is false information. The premises shown in this video do not belong to and are not located on the territory of Tolmachevo airport," the airport representative assured.

Also on February 22, the Khakassia authorities confirmed the death of Sergei Yumashev, who served in Wagner PMC, and 3 other mercenaries: Anatoly Muzykantov, Viktor Fisher, and Vladimir Rakhmanov. Dates and circumstances of their death have not been disclosed.

  • As of the morning of February 22, Russia has lost about 620 soldiers, 8 tanks and 7 artillery systems over a day of the war in Ukraine.
