Espreso correspondent Artem Lahutenko reports this.
Mass burials of people during the period of the temporary Russian occupation of the city were found at the local cemetery in Izyum.
As of September 16, more than 500 graves have been found. Most of them are nameless, there are only numbers on the wooden crosses. There are mass graves as well.
One of the crosses shows 17 servicemen of Ukraine's Armed Forces. Signs of torture have been found on some bodies - ropes around the neck, hands tied.
Some graves belong to children aged 6 to 9 years.
