Burial sites with more than 50 civilian bodies have been found in liberated Lyman, Donetsk region

This is reported by hromadske.

According to the publication, the Russian forces dug trenches and forced people suspected of collaborating with the Ukrainian military to collect the bodies of the dead for burial.

A local resident, whom the invading Russian forces detained and brought to bury the dead, told reporters that not all of the buried were identified, and the bodies could lie on the streets for a long time. In addition, the victims of shelling were sometimes buried by their neighbors.

On the burial there are plaques, some of which have names written on them, while others contain only numbers.

In addition, the publication notes that the Russian troops, retreating, left the dead bodies of their soldiers. In particular, in one of the houses where they lived and organized a medical center - only the wounded were taken from there.
