The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported the information on the United News national telethon.
He noted that out of the 5,000 destroyed houses, 500 are beyond repair.
Terekhov also said that over the past year, 200 houses have been rebuilt, and another 60 are currently under construction. According to the plan, they should be completed before the start of the heating season.
"There are not enough funds for all this, not everything depends on us, but also on financial capabilities and human resources," the mayor said.
