Opposition in Ukraine will support government’s positive initiatives, seeks unity and victory

Ukrainian MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"In fact, our parliamentarism has been destroyed. We have a mono-majority. The schedule of the parliament is created in the President's Office. Part of what they put there is really useful and necessary, and many laws are supported by the opposition and the government. Nevertheless, the government does not bring any opposition draft to the parliamentary hall as a matter of principle," he said.

According to the MP, the opposition will support the government's positive initiatives because it wants unity and victory.

"Unfortunately, there are too few of these positive initiatives, and the government does not want unity yet. Opposition and pro-government MPs are offended by the fact that their agenda is being dictated from above by the Office of the President. In order to rebuild a strong Ukraine, we need to ensure a clear separation of powers now, when there is a war. This is the only guarantee of our victory and the West's support for us. Unfortunately, the executive and representative authorities do not always understand this," concluded Kniazhytskyi.
