It is expected that 100 delegations will take part in this representative conference (57 heads of state and government, 29 foreign ministers, 6 countries sent their plenipotentiaries).
India, Brazil, and South Africa are also present. The absence of Chinese representatives in this situation no longer seems like a reasonable step.
There could have been more. It immediately caught my eye that the participation of Caribbean countries could have been much wider. This also applies to Oceania (Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia). Many of them voted for resolutions in support of Ukraine at the UN. Each country's position is important.
The absence of Azerbaijan is surprising. After all, Ukraine supported its partners when they were at war. But Armenia will participate...
Sadly, the absence of Central Asian countries - former Soviet republics - is no longer surprising. They cannot overcome their dependence on Moscow. First of all, it hurts for Kazakhstan.
So, in general, it's okay. But it would have been okay if Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine had been appointed to more than twenty vacant positions.
