Operational lull continues in Avdiivka sector, but Russia accumulates reserves - Valeriy Prozapas
Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Valeriy Prozapas noted that Russian reconnaissance and artillery are working in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut sectors
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"There has been an operational lull in the Avdiivka sector for several days. There is no such intensity of the Russian forces’ actions as it was a few days ago. There is information from our colleagues who are in the Bakhmut sector that after our paratroopers came in and fought with the Wagnerites, the enemy quieted down," said Prozapas.
He claims Russia is conducting reconnaissance activities in the Bakhmut-Marinka sector.
"Intensity of fighting has decreased, but Russia's reconnaissance and artillery are active. Enemy infantry units continue to conduct reconnaissance actions on the contact line. Russia accumulates reserves and does not abandon its intentions to enter the operational space and find weaknesses in the defensive orders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," added Prozapas.
