"Only Russia wants me dead, but the whole world wants to kill Putin" – Zelenskyy on threats to his life
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got used to the constant risk to his life. In his opinion, Vladimir Putin's life is in greater danger because "the whole world wants to kill him"
This is how he answered a question from a Spanish journalist about what life is like for a person who faces the greatest danger in the world.
"I believe that our people who are in the trenches face the greatest danger now. They are exposed to life-threatening risks every second, because there are constant strikes. If it doesn’t reach you, it reaches your comrade-in-arms. I've been there many times and seen it all," Zelenskyy said.
The President added that he himself got used to constant danger and considers it a part of his life.
"I understand that many people who are with me are also in danger. This is a choice we have made. A conscious, not accidental choice of life. I am proud that I have this opportunity. It has become a normal part of my life," he said.
Subsequently, Volodymyr Zelenskyy returned to the journalist's question and added that, in his opinion, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is in more danger now.
"It seems to me that Putin is in more danger than me. Only Russia wants me dead, but the whole world wants to kill him," Zelenskyy said.
