Occupying Russian army reinforce positions, pull up reserves in southern frontline
Russian troops suspended their offensive in the southern direction, but keep the pressure on using artillery shelling and drones
Ukraine's South Command reported the information.
"In the area of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces, the Russian army continues to strengthen the fortifications of its positions and to pull up reserves," the statement says.
The Command noted that the Russian troops are monitoring the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the right bank and do not stop putting pressure with artillery shelling. They are also actively using drones.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military has not detected any signs of the formation of offensive groups. The South Command says the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River and continue to inflict fire on the Russian forces.
- On the left bank of the Dnipro River, near the settlement of Krynky, Russian troops are using a new tactic. They have begun deploying armored troops "virtually into the Ukrainian rear" without engaging in combat.
