Nuclear weapons won't be relocated to Belarus – military expert Zgurets

Defense Express media and consulting company CEO Serhiy Zgurets believes that Putin's nuclear blackmail is related to Russia's stalemate on the battlefield

He said this on Espreso TV.

“There will be no relocation of nuclear weapons to the territory of Belarus. And there will be no use of nuclear weapons either. When Putin first started rattling off nuclear threats, there were a number of talks between the Americans and the Russians. The Russians were told that if tactical nuclear weapons were used, the Russian army and Russia would cease to exist,” Zgurets said.

According to the expert, Putin's nuclear blackmail is related to Russia's impasse on the battlefield.

“The statements of the Americans have put a considerable brake on this rattling of nuclear weapons, which Putin is now starting to use again. This hysteria is related to Russia's stalemate on the battlefield and an attempt to intimidate EU countries into not helping Ukraine. Once again, the Americans need to remind Putin what will happen to his country if he tries to make hints or use nuclear weapons,” Zgurets emphasized.
