Not many Russian forces left in the Kherson region, Ukrainian Armed Forces move to counteroffensive - Kherson military–civilian administration.
Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the head of the Kherson military–civilian administration, who serves with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has said that the Ukrainian Army are scoring tactical successes along the entire frontline, which could be built up into a major counteroffensive.
He told Espreso TV.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing little by little and are having tactical successes along the entire front line, including in the Kherson region. This is not a counteroffensive yet. However, we all understand that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be the result of the tactical successes currently taking place on the front. We are already in the third week of gradually pushing back the enemy," Khlan said.
Khlan added that the coordinated actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian partisans in the occupied territories are yielding results.
"The joint actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the partisans yield results not only on the front line, but also in the occupied territories. The Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly destroy the enemy's ammunition depots and equipment. Therefore, we will definitely liberate our lands and go on the counteroffensive. We will drive the occupiers and traitors from Ukrainian land And by the way, there aren't that many of them left," Khlan added.
