Not just Putin, all of Russia is responsible for the war in Ukraine - Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki
The ideology of the "Russian world" has wide support in Russia, and therefore not only Russian leader Vladimir Putin, but the country as a whole, share responsibility for the invasion of Ukraine.
This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Warsaw Security Forum, PAP reports.
"This is not Putin's war alone, as some in the West believe, this is the war of the whole of Russia. Russia must fundamentally change in order not to pose a threat to its neighbors in the future," the prime minister said.
In addition, the prime minister also noted that "Russia has revived the demons that we thought remained in the dark past" - colonialism, imperialism, and nationalism.
"They came to the surface, and the Kremlin uses them as a weapon of propaganda in Russian society. Unfortunately, the ideology of the "Russian world" is very persistent in Russia," he said.
