Norway sent Ukraine 10 thousand artillery shells of 155 mm caliber - ammunition has already left the territory of the country
This was stated by Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram, BBC reports.
The publication notes that Norway sent Ukraine 10 thousand artillery shells of 155 mm caliber.
The Norwegian military adds that the shells can be used for several types of weapons, including the M-109 self-propelled howitzer.
Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram said that his country will continue to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with weapons.
"Ukraine needs urgent assistance, and therefore we continue to study what else can be provided from the stocks of the armed forces. We are also looking at what we can get directly from the manufacturer to help even more," Gram said.
Earlier, Norway has already provided Ukraine with 23 M-109 self-propelled howitzers, 160 Hellfire air-to-ground missiles, 3 MLRS multiple launch rocket systems, 4 thousand anti-tank missiles, more than 1750 bulletproof vests, 3 thousand protective helmets and 15 thousand dry rations.
