President Maia Sandu said she sees no threat of war in Moldova as long as Ukraine bravely fights the Russian invasion and thus protects Moldova

She said this during a speech in parliament, Reuters reports.
"I want to reassure our citizens that Moldova is not now in any danger of war. The Russian army cannot get here while Ukraine holds out – and (thus) protects Moldova. We are grateful to Ukrainians for their bravery and love of freedom," Sandu said.
At the same time, she noted that Russia continues to destabilize the situation inside Moldova.

On March 13, Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi said that he saw no direct military threat to the country. However, Russia is waging a hybrid war against Moldova.
