According to initial reports, the forces and air defense systems successfully destroyed over 40 drones in Kyiv's airspace. However, there are reports of casualties and damage in various districts of Kyiv due to falling debris. The Kyiv city military administration provided further details, stating that in the Holosiivskyi district, debris from the downed drones struck a seven-story non-residential building, resulting in one fatality and one person being hospitalized. Additionally, a shopping mall's roof caught fire, a separate building and enterprise experienced fires, and warehouses of finished products were engulfed in flames, causing destruction across an area of 1,000 square meters and resulting in one casualty.

In the Pechersky district, a house's roof caught fire, while in the Darnytsky district, one of the shops suffered broken windows and damaged doors.

In the Kyiv region, anti-aircraft defense shot down all air targets

Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of Kyiv regional military administration, reported that due to the efficient work of the air defense, all enemy targets in the region were successfully destroyed, and no impacts were recorded.

Kravchenko stated, "As a result of the falling debris, a private house in one of the communities sustained minor damage with broken windows. In another area, windows were also shattered in a food establishment. Additionally, a truck trailer caught fire, but the fire was extinguished, and one of the cars had its windows damaged."

He further mentioned that the falling debris caused a forest fire and ignited grass litter in several locations, but these incidents were swiftly contained and localized.
