U.S. has no peace plan for Ukraine, says Polish politician
Miroslaw Czech claims the U.S. reduced the peace talks to three points, including control over Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
The Polish politician and public figure Miroslaw Czech believes that the biggest secret of the Americans is that they have no peace plan for resolving the war in Ukraine. He shared this opinion during a broadcast on Espreso.
“The biggest American secret is that they have no peace plan for Ukraine. Rubio said it like this: 'First, a ceasefire, and then, during the ceasefire, we will talk about peace negotiations.' They invited Putin to express his list of demands. Then the Americans reduced it to three points, which, by the way, were voiced by Trump himself," he said.
These three points are the Kursk region of Russia, the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and Ukrainian ports.
“In other words, it’s an exchange of the Kursk region for the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and the Americans' unwillingness to talk about the nuclear power plant looked like this: when the talks began between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Saudi Arabia, Colonel Palisa and Minister Umerov arrived and said: 'Well, okay, the nuclear power plant, to restart it, the largest in Europe, will take about two years, but the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant cannot be returned under Ukraine's control without Enerhodar, without the city.' And this is exactly what President Zelenskyy said. The Americans were not prepared for this at all. What Enerhodar, some small town? They are talking about global issues. But here’s a small town. But everything comes down to details. And secondly, the ports, which are unknown, but I think they’re talking about the freedom of navigation from Ukrainian ports, so that the Russians don’t even get close," he believes.
- On March 13, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the issue of Ukrainian territories that might be lost, as well as control over the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, were discussed in the context of a ceasefire.
