Ukrainian athlete Mykhailo Kokhan reached the final in the hammer throw at the Olympic Games in Paris

Mykhailo Kokhan made a backward throw during his first attempt and was unable to immediately meet the qualification standard of 77 metres. In the second attempt, the Ukrainian sent the hammer 77.42m and was the first to qualify for the final.
