Russia suffers heavy losses in Luhansk region during attempted assaults - official
Artem Lysohor, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, says that Russia regularly prepares units that carry out attacks on Serebryanske forestry and Bilohorivka, but the Ukrainian forces "cool down" the adversary
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The enemy is also learning to fight, but their military leadership, at the division and regimental staff levels, is showing signs of nervousness. In some instances, they attempt to advance in small groups, suffering casualties. In other cases, they throw heavy equipment into the attack, not exactly in columns, but with 3-4 units of equipment moving for a breakthrough. It is only thanks to the preparedness of our guys that we manage to destroy the enemy. Indeed, when Ukrainian artillery is in action, it operates much more accurately than Russian artillery. And this immediately "cools down" the enemy," emphasized Lysohor.
According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, over the past month, the Russians have suffered very heavy losses in both equipment and personnel. "The enemy has repeatedly trained units to attack Serebryanske Forestry and Bilohorivka. The Russians are changing their units, and the dust is settling a bit because they really suffer heavy losses when they attempt such attacks," added Lysohor.
- Over the past day, 88 combat clashes took place at the front. Ukrainian forces repelled attacks in 6 directions and eliminated 1,090 invaders.
- In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, Russians have begun preparations for covert campaigning for the "presidential election": they plan to involve about 2,000 people.
