Situation on the main frontlines

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains unchanged.

The Russian army maintains a military presence near the northeastern Ukrainian border, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 10 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnekamianske, Novyi, Chasiv Yar, New York, Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 8 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Umanske, Novokalynove, Pervomayske and Netailove in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian forces near Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region, where the Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defense 16 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia nine times.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian militants are determined to drive Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, the Russian invaders made 4 unsuccessful attacks against the Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian Defense Forces strikes at Russian positions

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers keep on inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire combat line.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 22 areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Missile troops destroyed 5 Russian troops' control points and 1 ammunition depot.

  • As of the evening of April 14, the Russian occupying army is advancing east of Chasiv Yar and trying to bypass Berdychi from the north.
