Zelenskyy meets top defense officials, reports developments in supply of Western aid
On Monday, November 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhylevych, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov
The President announced this on social media.
During the meeting, the discussion centered around the situation at the Russian-Ukrainian frontline, particularly the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Toretske, and Kupyansk areas.
Additionally, a separate report focused on the Kursk operation and the destruction of Russian forces in specific regions near the Ukrainian state border.
“There are important developments in the delivery of supplies from our partners to the frontline - we have recorded an increase in supplies under support packages. The results in the supply of artillery have become better,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
In turn, the Minister of Defense reported on the supply of Ukrainian-made drones for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to him, the approved supply plans are being implemented.
Zelenskyy also instructed Umerov to further increase orders of Ukrainian drones for relevant military operations.
- On November 1, the United States announced a new military aid package to Ukraine worth $425 million. It includes ammunition for NASAMS air defense systems and missiles for Stinger surface-to-air missiles.
