"The patient lived and is healing": Trump promises stronger USA after tariff implementation

The president wrote this in his social media platform TruthSocial.

According to the White House, the United States will be stronger and more resilient than ever before.

"The operation is over! The patient lived, and is healing. The prognosis is that the patient will be far stronger, bigger, better, and more resilient than ever before. Make America great again!!!" – Trump wrote.

• On April 2, Donald Trump announced the implementation of tariffs of at least 10% on nearly all goods imported to the USA: these tariffs will come into effect on April 9. 
• Ukraine will have the lowest tariff at 10%. According to Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, "it won’t significantly impact the country."
• Later, the U.S. president declared a state of emergency to "increase competitiveness, protect sovereignty, and strengthen national and economic security."
