It is noted that the first launch of a marine drone was carried out on December 20, 2023.
"It is used to hit ground-based surface targets in the coastal zone, as well as for direct fire contact at sea," Maliuk said.
According to him, in addition to multiple launch rocket systems, there are many other types of weapons that the drone carries as a multipurpose platform.
- On April 14, it became known that Ukraine had upgraded its Sea Baby naval drones in 2024. From now on, they are able to deliver almost a tonne of explosives over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.
