General Staff report: Russians attacked Ukrainian positions in 7 directions: the areas where they stormed the most

The situation on the northern Ukrainian border has not changed significantly. 

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army is conducting subversive activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and is also mining the territory along the state border.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one attack near the town of Synkivka in Kharkiv region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defense.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 Russian attacks near Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 6 attacks near Spirne and Klishchiivka in Donetsk region. The Russian forces were trying to improve their tactical position.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off 14 attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Semenivka, Umanske, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops near Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine in Donetsk region. The Russian forces tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses 24 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian militants launched 4 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Staromayorske in Donetsk region, Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces are determined to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they attacked Ukrainian troops' positions 8 times.

Russian army launches 2 missile strikes and 78 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 75 clashes took place.

In total, the Russian forces launched 2 missile strikes, 78 air strikes, fired 66 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, Russian aggressors once again attacked Ukraine using 4 Shahed UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 4 UAVs.

4 settlements in Sumy region; 2 settlements in Kharkiv region; 2 settlements in Luhansk region; 13 settlements in Donetsk region; air strikes hit 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 6 areas of concentration of Russian troops, weapons and military equipment

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 1 anti-aircraft missile system and 13 areas of Russian troops' concentration.

Missile troops struck 6 concentration areas of Russian troops, weapons and military equipment, 8 artillery systems, an anti-tank vehicle and a multiple launch rocket system.
