The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.
"According to the investigation, on April 12, at about 11:15 a.m., the invaders fired at the village of Monachynivka, using 152 mm artillery. A 72-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were injured," the statement says.
The victims refused to be hospitalized, so doctors provided them with assistance on the spot.
Residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.
"The Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi village was also attacked today. A 64-year-old man was killed. Preliminary, the Russian military shelled the settlement with artillery," the prosecutor's office added.
Proceedings were opened for violation of the laws and customs of war.
