Presidential elections in Moldova recognized as valid
As of 2:00 p.m., just over 33% of registered voters have cast their ballots in the presidential elections in Moldova. As a result, the presidential election on October 20 has been deemed valid

This is reported by the news portal Știri.md, citing the country's CEC.
With less than seven hours remaining until the polling stations close, over 930,000 citizens out of approximately 2.7 million eligible voters have cast their ballots.
A total of 2,219 polling stations are expected to be open in the Republic of Moldova, with 1,988 located within the country, including 30 stations designated for residents on the left bank of the Dniester River.
Note. According to the current legislation of Moldova, elections are considered valid if the turnout exceeds the minimum threshold of 33.33% of registered voters.
- Moldova is holding the first round of presidential elections and a constitutional referendum on European integration on October 20. There are 11 candidates running for the presidency.
- There will be no exit polls during the first round of the presidential election in Moldova, the Central Election Commission has reported.
