It is noted that the subway is currently facing an acute shortage of blue-collar professionals. In particular, this is partly due to forced migration, the specifics of professions and mobilization work in connection with martial law.
In particular, about 7% of employees are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their number is constantly increasing.
"Given the current staffing situation, train schedules on all subway lines will be changed soon. The intervals between trains will be increased by about one minute during off-peak hours and 45 seconds during peak hours," the statement said.
- Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said that fair booking is necessary, as the city will soon lack critical infrastructure workers due to mobilization.
