Families ordered to leave Ukraine’s Pokrovsk district as Russia advances
Families with children from several settlements in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region are being evacuated

The Coordination Headquarters for Mandatory Evacuation of the Population under Martial Law made this decision, as reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.
Children and their parents or legal guardians will be evacuated from the following areas:

The city of Pokrovsk

The town of Rodynske
-
The villages of Hnativka, Dachenske, Zhovte, Zelene, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Novoukrainka, Pushkine, Rih, Sukhyi Yar, Troianda, Chunyshyne
The agency noted that the evacuation is free of charge, and a reception center has been set up to provide overnight accommodation if necessary.
“In safe regions, evacuated children and their accompanying persons will receive free shelter, humanitarian aid, psychological support, and more,” the Ministry of Reintegration added.
- On August 15, it was reported that Russian troops were positioned just over 10 kilometers from Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
