He spoke about this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I cannot confirm the date of the elections in Ukraine, but the preparation process has already begun. Preparatory measures are being carried out, including local authorities receiving instructions to check the condition of polling stations, the availability of ramps, and so on.

Although this may seem insignificant, such indirect facts indicate the beginning of the election preparation process," Stupak stated.

  • On February 16, Ukraine’s fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, stated that the authorities plan to hold simultaneous presidential, parliamentary, and local elections in the fall of 2025.
  • The head of the Servant of the People faction, Davyd Arakhamia, commented on this. According to him, elections during martial law are impossible. He also emphasized that elections in Ukraine will be held no earlier than 6 months after the end of martial law.
