
Four Ukrainians die in minibus crash in Austria
On the morning of April 1, a collision occurred between a truck and a minibus carrying Ukrainians on the way to Vienna. As a result, four Ukrainian citizens died, and there were casualties

The incident took place around 6 a.m. (local time) near the settlement of Seebenstein on the way to Vienna.
According to police spokesman Johann Baumschlager, the truck was likely pulling out from a parking area when the minibus collided with it. As a result of the accident, four people died. The Red Cross said that six people were injured, four of them seriously.
Later, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the accident, stating that a minibus with eight Ukrainians crashed into a truck.
"According to the police, four Ukrainian citizens (born in 1960, 1963, 1970, 1971) died, and another four people sustained serious injuries. The Ukrainian consul is on-site providing assistance to Ukrainian citizens and working with the relevant authorities," said the ministry’s press service.
Also, there were two Spanish citizens in the truck, who were injured.
As stated by the fire department, eight people were trapped in the minibus and had to be rescued using hydraulic equipment. All the injured were taken to the hospital. Three helicopters, three emergency medical teams, nine rescue vehicles, and nine fire trucks were involved.
