New Russian psyop aims to demoralize Ukrainians

Ukrainians are receiving a video allegedly showing a conversation in which a social worker is being disrespectful to a soldier who lost his leg. The Center for Strategic Communications has stated that this video is part of a Russian psychological operation

This was reported on the agency's website, according to Espreso.

"The Center for Strategic Communications has recorded that Russian fake news makers are spreading another low-level operation on the Signal messenger. The enemy continues to try to demoralize Ukrainians. This time, they created a video in which an employee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Center for Social Services is allegedly rude to an Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman who lost his leg in the war and called to find out why his payments are delayed," the statement said.

The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security has observed that the conversation appears to be highly artificial and staged, evident in both the intonation and the language used.

"The participants in the dialogue are not even listening to each other and are already responding without having heard the full line – such an interaction is difficult to imagine in real life. If you come across such disinformation, it's advisable to disregard it and avoid letting the enemy emotionally unsettle you or diminish your faith in our defenders and our society as a whole. Only together can we defeat and punish the enemy for all the heinous crimes he has committed," the agency emphasized.
