New Russian disinfo: Weapons provided to Ukraine "can be bought cheaply on Darknet"
Russian propaganda disinfo for July 14: Russians deny blockade of Ukrainian exports and say that Ukraine is selling Western weapons
The Center for Countering Disinformation have shared the main disinfo and fake stories spread by Russian propaganda on July 14 in its Telegram channel.
Manipulation: Russia's charge d'affaires in Canada Proskuryakov said: "Canada's decision to send a turbine to Germany, necessary for the operation of the Nord Stream, is a clear precedent for violating the sanctions imposed by the collective West."
Disinformation: representatives of the Russian embassy in the United States deny the blockade by the Russian side of sea routes for Ukrainian exports. They said that America's sanctions are to blame for this, not Russia's mining of the Black Sea.
In particular, they stated: "Washington's unilateral sanctions and its disruption of supply chains lead to significant problems for importers of agricultural products, and accusations of preventing Russia from exporting agricultural products from Ukraine by sea do not stand up to criticism."
Disinformation: Russian propagandists announced that almost all the weapons provided to Ukraine by international partners can be found cheaply on the Darknet.
"Almost all names of Western weapons, which were transferred to Ukraine, can be found at very low prices on Darknet sites," Russian mass media said.
In this way, Russian propagandists are trying to discredit Ukraine and lower the level of support of partner countries, the Center commented.
