New civilian burial site discovered in Borodianka, Kyiv region

Another civilian grave has been discovered in Borodianka. During the exhumation, police recovered the bodies of three men, one of whom was shot dead by the Russian soldiers in his car, and the other two have not yet been identified

The National Police of the Kyiv region reported that the man who was killed in the car was 50 years old.

The victims were buried by a local resident around March 8 last year. Later he was able to leave the Russian occupation, so only now he reported the burial place to the police.

“He and his friend found bodies that had been shot and were able to make a temporary burial at that time. Later, when the occupying forces made it impossible to move freely around the town, he left for a safer area and only now returned and reported to the police that he had made a burial,” the statement says.

Ukraine’s National Police also reported that as of today, 1,373 murdered civilians have been found in the Kyiv region, including these three bodies.
