Lithuania and other countries are not obliged to save Russian citizens from mobilization, and it would be inappropriate to accept Russians who have recently supported the war for humanitarian reasons

This was stated by Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.

"The war started in 2014 and this invasion started on February 24. People have had plenty of time to decide where they stand in this war.

I would not understand such a situation, when we let people into Lithuania for humanitarian reasons only because the war was ok for them when they see it on TV, sitting on the couch, but it became not ok when their government and Shoigu invited them to join the army and offered to take part in this war with their physical body," the Prime Minister of Lithuania said.

According to Šimonytė, each person should be judged on their merits, the risks they face, and their position - and it would be good if they were consistent.

Ingrida Šimonytė said that neither Lithuania nor any other country should save all Russian citizens from mobilization.
