It was stated during an Espresso broadcast by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna.

"We are leading a rather difficult dialogue with the Venice Commission; we are talking about a new legislation which must be voted on in the parliament and then come into force," she said.

She emphasized that Ukraine received three final conclusions of the Venice Commission with different recommendations and discussed it with the European Commission.

"We agreed that next week we hold a tripartite consultations format - Ukraine - the European Commission - the Venice Commission. By the end of next week, we will outline options for resolving the issue, and form an expert group that will recommend candidates to the President Office and the Verkhovna Rada. I am sure that by the end of next week we will have a decision mutually acceptable to Ukraine and Brussels. This reform is part of the political consensus regarding Ukraine's membership in the EU," concluded Stefanishyna.
