NATO PA says Russia's crimes in Ukraine are genocide, Russia’s regime is terrorist one
At its session in Luxembourg, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly unanimously recognized Russia's crimes against Ukraine as genocide and Russian state under the current regime as a terrorist one
Head of Ukraine's Permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Yehor Cherniev said this.
“At the Assembly session in Luxembourg, we achieved the adoption of an extremely strong declaration that will have far-reaching political consequences... This is our diplomatic victory. All of our key wishes regarding the final text of the declaration have been taken into account. It includes support for the international tribunal, assistance to Ukraine before and after the victory, condemnation of the ideology of Ruscism, restoration of territorial integrity, sanctions, reparations, the Marshall Plan, and much more,” he wrote.
According to him, the NATO PA called on their governments to openly announce at the Vilnius summit that Ukraine will become a member of the Alliance and to agree on significant steps for accession.
“The foundation for the NATO Summit in Vilnius has been laid. Allied parliamentarians have expressed their position. Now it's up to the governments,” Cherniev summarized.
