Oleksandr Senkevych, mayor of Mykolaiv, announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

“Mykolaiv is being shelled with rocket artillery. Don't come out of hiding!", Senkevych urged.

Residents report that shells fell on residential buildings in the area of the Rocket tract.

As reported, the defenders of Mykolaiv shot down four helicopters over the city.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, rockets hitting residential buildings.
