Moscow allegedly attacked by UAVs: airports are closed
On the night of August 22-23, explosions were heard in Moscow and the Moscow region
The Russian propaganda publication TASS reports this.
The message states that “the airports in the capital are currently not allowing planes to land or take off, according to aviation services.”
Moscow's airports were closed between approximately 3:00 a.m. and 4:10 a.m.
During this time, local telegram channels reported explosions near the “Moscow-City" skyscrapers. There are reports of air defense activities on the outskirts of Moscow.
Moscow Mayor Sobyanin mentioned that an UAV allegedly hit an unfinished building. Official sources confirm that there have been no reported casualties.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, “air defense successfully destroyed two Ukrainian UAVs that attacked the capital over the Mozhaysky and Khimki districts of the Moscow region. The third UAV was disrupted by electronic warfare and, after losing control, collided with a building in the "Moscow-City'' complex.
