More than 80% of the personnel of some Russian units involved in the war on the territory of Ukraine do not want to participate in further hostilities
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine distributed the operational information on Facebook.
"The invader has significant problems with the recruitment of military units that suffered significant losses during the hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. According to available information, more than 80 percent of the personnel of some units that were involved in the war do not want to participate in further hostilities. Commanders of military units forbade dismissing military personnel whose contracts expired before the end of the so-called “special military operation", the General Staff report says.
Russian invaders continue to destroy civilian infrastructure, inflict missile and artillery strikes on railway junctions and communication lines, stations, residential areas and places of evacuation of civilians from combat areas.
In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the invader continues to build up the grouping of troops. The invaders are not abandoning their attempts of offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Popasna and Severodonetsk. They do not succeed.
In the South Bug direction, the invader fought in the area settlement of Oleksandrivka. It tried to exercise fire influence in order to inflict defeat on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the specified area. Didn't reach the goal.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the invader continued to blockade the city of Kharkiv, shelling residential areas using artillery, including multiple missile launchers and large-caliber mortars.
The invaders have completely withdrawn units of their troops from the territory of the Sumy region in the Russian Federation.
"The occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region received instructions from Russian curators to return to these territories people who left for the Russian Federation during January-February 2022. According to the instructions of local administrations, citizens must return to the settlements at the place of registration / residence after two months of stay on the territory of Russia", the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the invader continues to violate the norms of International Humanitarian Law by committing unlawful acts against the civilian population, including robbing premises, stealing vehicles and detaining citizens of Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are successfully repulsing invader attacks in all directions, inflicting losses on the invader and are ready for any changes in the operational situation", the General Staff concluded the report.
