More than 62 000 soldiers: Russian losses in its war against Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report on Facebook.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to October 8 amounted to:

personnel - about 62, 060 (+380 per day) 

tanks - 2,472 (+6)

armored fighting vehicles - 5111 (+18) 

artillery systems - 1,459 (+4)

MLRS - 345 (+1)

air defense systems - 180 (+3)

aircraft - 266

helicopters - 234 (+1)

vehicles and tank trucks - 3,875 (+13)

ships/boats - 15

UAV operational-tactical level - 1,079 (+12)

special equipment - 136 (+1)

cruise missiles - 246 

On October 8, Russian troops suffered the greatest losses in the Kramatorsk, Donetsk and Bakhmut directions.
