More than 140,000 Ukrainians have returned home since the war began
Since the beginning of Russia's attack on Ukraine, more than 140,000 Ukrainians have returned home. Mostly men of conscription age returned to fight the Russian invaders
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
"More than 1 million 50 thousand people have crossed the western part of the state border of Ukraine alone since the beginning of the Russian aggression", the statement says.
It is noted that more than 900 thousand of them went to leave the country - almost 764 thousand citizens of Ukraine and about 137 thousand foreigners. At the same time, 143,000 of our compatriots came to enter Ukraine, 80% of them are men. Note that men aged 18 to 60 are currently unable to leave Ukraine. That is, those who have already returned will not be able to go abroad until the end of the war.
"Border guards also provided access to 2,450 vehicles with humanitarian aid sent from abroad", it is added in the statement.
