More HIMARS systems will allow Ukraine's Armed Forces to go on the offensive on all fronts - Petro Kuzyk
Svoboda Battalion Commander Petro Kuzyk believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch a counteroffensive as soon as they receive a sufficient amount of heavy weaponry
He shared his opinion with Espreso.
"Now, several HIMARS systems are operating in our direction. However, even such a small amount of this equipment simply terrifies the invaders. If there were two or three times more such weapons, then it would be possible to change the situation on the fronts. A larger number of HIMARS systems will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine transition from defense to offensive on all fronts", Kuzyk explained.
The commander of the Svoboda battalion emphasized that all infantry units dream of an offensive.
"The infantry units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have withstood large-scale artillery fire from the enemy since the first day of the war, simply dream of an offensive. There were days when our positions were shelled 500 times a day. When the Russians were not able to capture the city, they simply started to destroy it with artillery. They did it without the response of our artillery. Now they are beginning to feel what artillery shelling is like. Therefore, if we had at least a dozen HIMARS systems here, we would drive the Russians to the border with Russia", he added.
