Mobilized Russians flee from positions: only barrier troops stop them - Ukrainian intelligence
The morale of the Russian military is extremely low - if it were not for the barrier troops, most of the mobilized would have already fled the battlefield
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, said this during a nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"If we talk about the situation in the army, the fact that covert mobilization in Russia continues and preparations are underway for further mobilization activities indicates that even the conducted mobilization is not enough, the army is not effective, not properly supplied, not properly trained, as evidenced by the huge losses on the battlefield. The number of audio intercepts... with panic moods of Russians on the front line is very large. And only a part of it is made public. So, yes, if we talk about morale, it is extremely low among the partially mobilized. They see the work of their own "barrier detachments", they see the incompetence of their command and they see the huge losses of people around them. There is definitely no talk of any ideological components or trust in the propaganda of Solovyov and Skabeeva," Yusov noted.
According to a representative of Ukrainian intelligence, if it were not for the barrier units and there was an opportunity to escape by leaving their positions, most Russian mobilized would take advantage of it.
