Hackers “put down” almost 100 Russian web resources

On July 15, cyber specialists of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine together with the volunteer hacker community attacked about 100 Russian websites. This was reported by the press service of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

As of July 16, 39 of the attacked Russian websites are still down.

“The cyberattack was aimed at destroying the internal information of companies that serve clients from the Russian public sector involved in the war against Ukraine,” the military intelligence said.

Czech company to produce Colt rifles in Ukraine

Ukraine and the Czech Republic have signed two agreements in the defense sector, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a joint press conference with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.

“Today we have signed two important agreements, among other agreements in the defense industry. A new ammunition plant will be built in Ukraine - the agreement was signed between Sellier & Bellot and Ukroboronservice,” the Ukrainian Prime Minister said.

According to Denys Shmyhal, the second signed agreement provides for the production of assault rifles by Colt CZ Group in Ukraine. The agreement was signed between Ceska Zbrojovka and a Ukrainian company, which the Prime Minister did not name for security reasons.

Partisans discover Russian military training center in Crimea

A secret training center for the Russian military in Crimea is no longer secret. Guerrillas of the Atesh movement have discovered a covert military school and made its coordinates public.

“An Atesh agent from the Russian Armed Forces informed us about the Sevastopol training center of the Russian Armed Forces, which, according to legend, is a school for divers, where he was trained,” the article says.

According to Atesh, the secret center is used to train Russian personnel, in particular, to shoot at targets in the water.

“According to legend, there is a diving training center here. But this is just a cover. Ruscists like to disguise law enforcement agencies as the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and now also as divers,” Atesh says.

Ukraine to receive equipment from Vilnius TPP

The Lithuanian company Ignitis Gamyba will provide Ukraine with power equipment from the Vilnius TPP-3, which was shut down and decommissioned in 2015. The cost of the equipment is more than 50 million euros.

The company's website states that the humanitarian aid agreement was signed by Ignitis Gamyba and Khmelnytskoblenergo, the electricity transmission system operator, which, on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers, will distribute the equipment upon receipt.

For security reasons, the company does not disclose the name and capacity of the equipment, as well as the power plants to which it will be transferred. However, more than 300 pieces of equipment are known to be involved.

Ukraine’s missile troops destroy Russian air defense in Donetsk region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi.

“I express my gratitude to the warriors for the successful fulfillment of the combat mission! Tonight at midnight, units of the Missile Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, struck at the enemy's S-300 system in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region,” the statement reads.

According to intelligence information, the damage to the enemy's radar station and launchers was confirmed. More detailed information on the consequences of the strike is being clarified.

“It is worth noting that this is not the first successful joint work of Ukrainian missile specialists and representatives of other parts of the Defense Forces on important military targets of the Russian Federation. Previously, more than 20 launchers and about 15 radar stations were destroyed. We continue to systematically destroy the potential of Russian air defense, creating favorable conditions for the successful use of strike aircraft,” said General Syrskyi.
