This is stated on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Strategic Communications Center (StratCom).
"The settlement of Illinka in the Donetsk region remains under Ukrainian control. Fighting with the enemy continues on its outskirts, but our units are firmly holding their positions," the statement says.
They added that reports claiming Russian forces are present in Kupyansk are likewise inaccurate. StratCom emphasized that the city is fully under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
Earlier, the OSINT information portal DeepState reported the alleged occupation of Illinka in the Donetsk region by the Russian troops on the night of November 14.
- The head of the Kupyansk City Military Administration reported that Russian paratroopers, who had broken through to the left-bank part of the city on November 13, have been eliminated.
