Ukrainian forces destroy Russian command and observation post in Kursk region
On April 7, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a strike on a complex of warehouse facilities used by the Russian army in Russia’s Kursk region
The General Staff of Ukraine reports.
The targeted site was a complex of storage facilities located in the village of Ozerki in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian forces destroyed hangars, several military buildings, and technical equipment. The strike also eliminated over 30 Russian troops, including drone crews and repair personnel.
“The destruction of this facility significantly reduces the Russia’s ability to conduct military operations against Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Sumy region and along the Kursk axis. Ukrainian defenders strike only valid military targets and take every possible measure to protect the civilian population.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to destroy elements of the enemy’s military infrastructure until Russia halts its armed aggression against the Ukrainian people,” the General Staff emphasized.
- Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also struck and destroyed a Russian command-and-observation post in the Kursk region, killing one of the commanders.
