Ukrainian combat vehicle Inguar-3 passes battlefield tests, heads for deployment
The new Ukrainian-made armored vehicle Inguar-3 has proven its capabilities in real combat situations and is set for delivery to defense forces this year
Defense Express reported the information.
Ukraine’s Inguar-3, a domestically developed armored vehicle, has successfully undergone battlefield testing and is expected to be delivered to the country’s defense units in 2025. Developed by Inguar Defence, the vehicle was tested in combat zones alongside the Azov Brigade and border forces, including operations near the Russian border.
During testing in the Serebryansky forest, the vehicle endured a drone strike but still managed to evacuate a wounded soldier, highlighting its durability. Inguar-3 also proved effective in the swampy terrain of the Sumy region, where its advanced suspension and tire inflation system were key.
Following feedback from frontline troops, the vehicle was upgraded with an integrated electronic warfare system and features designed to support anti-drone defenses. One standout innovation is the replacement of traditional mirrors with cameras, improving visibility during both day and night operations.
Inguar Defence is now working on integrating a remote-controlled weapon module, potentially armed with a Browning M2 machine gun or a grenade launcher, enhancing the vehicle’s combat capabilities even further.
