Ukraine's air defense destroys 2 Kh-59/Kh-69 missiles, 4 reconnaissance UAVs

Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk reported this.
"On the night of April 20, 2024, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles, two S-300 / S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, as well as two Kh-59 / Kh-69 guided missiles from the Black Sea," Oleshchuk said.
According to him, Ukraine destroyed two Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles. In addition, three reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed in the southern direction - two Orlan-10 and one Supercam.
Initially, the East Air Command reported that Ukrainian fighters had destroyed a Russian missile at around 5 a.m. in the Novomoskovsk district.
"Around five in the morning, a Kh-59 guided missile was destroyed in the Novomoskovsk district of Dnipro region," the statement said.
Later, the East Air Command informed about another downed Supercam reconnaissance drone, which the defenders destroyed at about 9 a.m. in the Synelnykove district of Dnipro region.
At 04:59, the Air Force warned of a missile heading toward Dnipro.

Explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia and Odesa in the early morning hours of April 20 during an air alert declared due to the threat of missile attacks.
