According to Umerov, Ukraine has learned its lessons from Avdiivka:
Ukraine needs modern air defense systems to prevent Russia from dropping multiple guided aerial bombs.
Ukraine needs long-range weapons to destroy Russian warehouses.
Ukraine needs artillery shells.
Umerov also emphasized that the decision to save personnel was the right one and added: "We will take back Avdiivka."
To avoid encirclement and save lives, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command decided to withdraw troops from Avdiivka and move to defense on more favorable positions.
